<itunes:summary>Crosspointe Community Church is located in Edmond, Oklahoma. At Emmanuel we are passionately pursuing God, relationships, community, and church. We pursue God through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pursue relationships with other believers in the body of Christ's church. We also pursue a positive and meaningful relationship with our community so that everyone may see the love and grace that Jesus has so freely given to all.</itunes:summary>

Twenty Five Hours in a Day

Have you ever wished for a twenty five hour day instead of twenty four? You probably already realize this but life in 2008 seems to be going at one speed FAST!

I read recently that the average American worker receives 108 emails a day! Crazy right? I also read that 243 million Americans own cell phones or hand-held wireless devices. You can’t help but notice how many people are on their cell phones while driving their car or at the mall or at restaurants. Crazy right?

One thing we are discovering at EBC for the next few weeks is learning what the Bible says about ‘rest’. We are learning how to put life on ‘pause’ long enough to rest and be refreshed physically; emotionally and spiritually.

After conducting a non-scientific survey among some in our church I can see how important this ‘rest’ topic is. Apparently we are leaving little time for our family; our lives personally or for God. Crazy right?

Let me encourage you to drop in at EBC this Sunday at 10:45 or listen on-line as we are learning together how important it is to put life on pause.
